The Department of Pediatrics is part of NEOUCOM's Division of Clinical Sciences. Keith R. Powell, M.D., is professor and chair of NEOUCOM's Department of Pediatrics and Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics at Akron Children's Hospital. 

The department faculty is made up practicing health care professionals from NEOUCOM's affiliated hospitals throughout northeast Ohio who volunteer their time to train NEOUCOM students in clinical settings. These volunteer faculty members model NEOUCOM's core values of competence, communication, caring, character and community in their daily practice and their teaching and mentoring of medical students.
