The Office of Infrastructure Support is responsible for providing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure services including planning, administration, support, deployment and consulting for the NEOUCOM community.  Infrastructure Support's domain includes managing and supporting personal computers, e-mail and print/file servers, network printers, local area and wide area networks, and telephone (voice) services. 

Our primary focus is on serving the needs of the College's computer users and departments by providing stable and reliable infrastructure and outstanding customer service.


 Desktop Support

The office of Infrastructure Support offers Desktop Support services for both PC's and MAC's designed to assist you with a wide range of pc support needs.  The desktop support team handles hundreds of support requests each month to help keep the NEOUCOM technology domain running smoothly.  In addition to providing direct support services, Desktop Support's expertise can help advise you of the best solutions for your PC support needs, so feel free to contact us to discuss how we may be able to help, before potential issues arise.

 Network Services/Telecommunications

The Telephone Service office is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the telephone system at the College of Medicine. The Office orders and maintains connections to the local telephone company and long distance providers. Voice mail services are provided by the Telecom office for employees of the College. Paging services are available for use in the local campus area.

PAGING SERVICES

The College of Medicine maintains a state-of-the-art alpha-numeric paging system that services the Rootstown campus area. Pagers can be accessed through the College telephone system using a touchtone phone or via computer modem. For more information about this service click here to explore .
